Called twice today. Answered 2nd call - "Mike (Punjabi) Smith", from 'BT'. Foreign person using my IP address for illegal purposes - would need to disconnect my internet for 5 days. Told me to hit CTRL+R and Windows key and enter something. I played along (doing NOTHING on my laptop, but then asked him, "You say this is coming from my IP address - then you can tell me what it is!?". He gave me a random number from hos head, I guess. Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. Calling every day, sometimes more than once. Don't know who they are because unless they give their name my phone (with nuisance blocker) doesn't even ring. So it must be an automated call otherwise they'd stop trying. Love my phones - these nuisance calls are a thing of the past. I only look occasionally to see if one number has been repeatedly calling / and this one has.
