As with previous comments, I had a call from an Indian gentleman on 002389001076 and had been chosen at random - the UK government does not do this type of thing so I knew it was a scam. Anyway, I had a little time to kill so let him talk on a little whilst doing the crossword, throwing in the odd "yes" and "I see". Had yet another call this morning, message left on the landline answering machine. I have asked repeatedly for my number to be removed because they are asking for someone that isn t me. Every time they say they will remove my number, it goes quiet for a few weeks, then starts all over again. I ve had the same number for 16 years and have told them this, but they still keep calling.
