We almost dismissed this as a scam txt but it really was Capital One warning about a suspicious payment.

Reschedule the delivery via: https://my-fedex-parcel-gb.com" - I have not ordered anything and the text was sent at 11pm and while I was home. I suspected a scam right away. This number is given as the "customer services" number on a fake eBay email. The email is for a high value item that has supposedly just been purchased on my account and to call customer services if there's an issue. I do not have an eBay account associated with the email address I received the email on. The email doesn't refer to me by name. eBay don't manage orders for sellers, the sellers have to do that themselves. A domestic phone line is not going to be used for customer services for an o

National Trust welcome phone call - followed by email sent from [email?protected], which is their legitimate email address (according to the website). Caller was able to confirm when I had joined and my email address. REALLY HELPFUL and polite gentleman on the call who provided useful site/location information suited to my needs.
Fraud Scammers calling from landline number 02089787854 asking for your financial details. In my family we have police officer who has tried many times to call them back but they are courious and won't answer there calls. Please Note Banks and Credit Card Companies Do Not Ask You For Your Financial Details When They Call.

American sounding woman called me saying she was from Nationwide Trust Bureau. She said someone at this address had a car accident in the past 2 years. (I haven t.) So i asked her what address was that. She repeated her line, do i repeated mine. She hung up.
SCAM. Very very noisy background. Sounded like Indian call centre with 100s of people nearby. During a pandemic!? Claimed to be BT Openreach checking service. Asked me how many lights flashing on box. I asked where lights would be. Vague response. He asked me to check back. My router doesn’t even have lights on back. Kept telling me to ‘switch off’. Switch what off!? Asked him to confirm customer name. He hung up.

Also sounded like he was driving at the time! He also said he wasn't from Manchester even though it was a Manchester number showing up!
