SCAM Man said he's from Currys to upgrade my plan . I gave him really hard time as he deserved it. I asked him what was mu current plan he didn'tkno . SCAM: Obviously a spoofed number- supposedly calling from my local area. An Indian sounding woman announced herself and said she was calling from BT. I don't have my phone line from BT, so I put on a silly voice & asked her if it was nice where she was, or was it raining? She ended the call.

Rang 1008, today, Thursday 04/08/22. A/phone kicked in - message reference large payments to Amazon, press buttons to resolve. Rang off. A bit frightening, as is my local area number.

Scammer pretending to be UPS.

Fraud SCAM Cold call. Indian voice asks you to give long card number as some payment at some time "did not go through". I remember no such occasion with an Indian agent, and if this does happen with any other, they immediately check and enter the card number again and it does go through. I said I can't just give my card number to an unknown caller for an unknown transaction, and the agent said he would get their lawyers to deal with me. I have blocked the number.

had a call pre-recorded call from this number claiming someone was trying to carry out a transaction for £900 from my Visa Debit Card (not specific about which one) and asking to confirm if it was me. Seems dodgy.
