Cold calling for payment protection insurance claims

A young woman informed me that i had been involved in a car accident and was this correct? I informed her i had not been in a car accident and that i was registered with the Telephone Preference Service and asked her to take my details off any Call lists and i bid her goodbye and promptly put the phone down.

Was silent for a couple of seconds and then they hung up.

They are a nuisance I keep asking them to remove my number They put phone down

Caller rang but left no message, it wasn t in my contacts so didn t answer. After reading these comments, number now blocked. Thank you to previous people on here

Kept calling me and when I finally answered, he started trying to ask me questions about who I was banking with. I refused to tell him as I was unsure of his intentions. He then stated my postcode, which was correct, and said he would send some information in the post. I proceeded to tell him the call was not relevant to me and that i didn t want to be contacted again. The business directory phones my office about 6 times a day. Most of the time they wait until I answer before they simply hang up. Other times they ask for my company details. They don t even ask if I want to advertise. Despite referring this to their complaint department they still continue to bombard me with calls. This is now harassment

Unsolitited cold call claiming that it had come to their attention that I had had an accident and made a claim on my policy. This was a blatant lie. Nothing more than a cold calling hard faced scam.

They called me several times. The first time I picked it up there was noone speaking and after 5 second they hung up. The second time I just heard an automated message saying the office was already closed and geve time options to call back. this was strange from the beginning. They are AG Legal calling about a car accident they claim I?ve had. Of course I had no car accident. They told me something about money they have for me.. Please, stop it. I?m going to block the number.
