SCAM. A guy calling me by my first name, started a conversation about Trading. And I asked him if he's ever Wolf of Wallstreet. And he said NEVER MIND, GOOD DAY and hung up. Probs looking for suckers to buy something and then make a commission from the loss.

This phone number is being used to perpetrate a computer scam. Do not follow instructions and block it.

Calling about a car crash, it's the same scam that has been around for years, usually was a bot now it's real people

Fraud Caller had a strong accent and spoke poor english. There was a lot of background noise as you would expect from a call centre. Asked to speak to my husband but did not mention his first name. Claimed to be from the Fraud dept of Visa Debit but did not say which bank had issued the card. She asked for no security checks. Spoke about unauthorised transaction. Scammers. Automated Voice claiming to be from HMRC, stating my names involved in a Fraud Case and if I didn't press one to speak with the Offer in charge, a warrent would be issued for my Arrest

SCAM = Automated message saying there is a tax fraud investigation against my name. You MUST press one... I hung up at this point. HMRC will never contact you by phone.

Apparently, according to recorded voice, the National Crime Agency are going to suspend my National Insurance number and arrest me. This is unlikely. This is the only one of 4 unknown calls from Vodafone numbers I have answered in the last couple of days but suspect all of the same ilk.

Got a text saying it was EE and bill had not gone through. It says click the link to update your billing info. I called the real EE and they said it’s a scam don’t click on the link at all

Jason Phillips called me from this number and then sent 2 email copy letters with Financial Ombudsman Service at top right of the letters, stating a big refund for my solar PV. He asked for covering payment upfront saying it is needed to cover costs of UK Law Associates before a refund could be arranged. I had no positive proof of who he was/is and declined the payment. I am perusing this through the ombudsman who is handling the case of mis-sold pv for me.
