Caller asks for you by name then asks a survey related to money ppi. Few days later you will get loads of calls from other numbers all related to the questions you were asked on the first call.
SCAM recorded voice claimed there was an investigation into my National Insurance number - press 1 to speak an officer before procedings commenced and my NI number was blocked.

this number constantly rings my landline but when i answer the caller cuts off. as soon as you ring back to tell them to stop it you are told by automated voice all lines are busy please wait then they cut you off. damned annoying they my our number but i cannot stop them who are they?

SCAM - keep getting numerous calls everyday from this number and other numbers starting 0203 789 6xxx. They purport to be from Car Phone Warehouse and are ringing to improve my deal and upgrade my phone. When I ask them where they got my details from they say they are working in collaboration with my current provider. When I ask for verification, they change the subject and don't know anything about my current arrangements. Call the number back and the line is dead sol assume it is masked. AVOID

I needed to make payment for my home shopping as I had put a wrong number in on my payment.
Warranty Direct- endless phone calls at all hours including well into the evening. Ringing them back leads to endless auto prompts- none of which offer Don t phone any more - its all about sales. So never use the on line quotation form- prices grossly excessive and they won t give up harassing you once they have your number. They always cut off as soon as they hear an answer phone.

Emily, claiming to be IT Support, I think Microsoft was mentioned. Offering to help fix problems with my computer. I played along for a while, got bored & hung up. Rung me back, so I told her I m IT technician, and there s nothing wrong with my PC. She warned me I was wrong, and hung up.
Claimed to be from o2, managed to send me an activation code from my actual O2 account then asked me to give him the number despite the message saying I shouldn’t. Clearly a scam, do not give them any details.

I only called "Studio" cards, as the online ordering is conveniently STILL stopping orders being placed using the website (the continue opetion after selecting payment option DOES NOT WORK. STUDIO website claims they only charge 13p/min and average call is 68p (maybe so IF you aren t kept ON HOLD for almost 7 mins - I didn t wait any longer just to be billed up to the eyeballs to place a phone because the website is deliberately blocked from working!). I was called from this number 6/3/21, saying my computer has been hacked. I told him this call was being recorded by Merseyside police (white lie), he told me to put on my computer and tried to tell me to look for icons/apps (not sure). I asked him whose name is my computer in, he said something and I said thats wrong, I asked him what my name was, he didn't know He had said he was calling from Microsoft at Thames Valley Park, he hung up, but it seems the number is from Wakefield

Somebody asking for me by name about insuranace. Asked how they got my detail and they said it was open data. Odd, as the number is with TPS. Reported to ICO for what it is worth as they have no right to call.
