Sent a text message first, saying they were from BT and would give me a call. The caller had a strong indian accent, and informed that my internet had been compromised, possibly by overseas third parties. asked me to go through various tests ie logging onto my tesco account, and checking my bank statements. When i refused to do so, the caller got a little shirty, asking what was the basis for this? Then threatened to disconnect my line. when I told her she couldn't do that, as my bills were paid regularly

SCAM - Automated call from a Warwickshire number claiming that my Amazon account had been fraudulently used to purchase an Apple iphone 11. I only use it to purchase Kindle ebooks. Don't even be tempted to press 1 out of curiosity you'll either get charged a hefty fee on your landline phone bill, or speak to someone who will put the fear of god into you, convince you this is real, get you to disclose your true card details or even manage to get your internet banking log on details from you!

I rang the number back & was given lots of abuse when told them i'd purchased the card but refused to give them the 16 diget code ..... POLICE INFORMED.

I foolishly signed up. They issued an invoice, chased payment every week even before I had received it. They can t tell me the bank or account details or even the amount I received as a payout. I have put in 2 formal complaints, both they have rejected. Do not use them they are a bunch of fraudsters

They said they got my details from “Road Traffic Claims Company” and when I said I hadn’t had an accident in 3 years he then asked if I’d had a work related accident or any injury. He hung up when I told him to remove my details.
