Received a call from 01784279719 on 24/08/2017. Asian sounding male asked to talk about my "Windows" PC. So for fun I asked which one? I m an old nerd and have all between Win 3.1 and Win 10, but I did not tell him that! He says "the one running the Windows operating system". It s obvious he is fishing for info! This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Calling regarding a car accident I had. Tricked me into believing they were part of my insurance company. Next thing I know I've been transferred to slater Gordon to make a claim! They keep hassling me despite telling them to leave me along and no accident has happened on the dates they keep providing. Nuisance call is an understatement, these people are scum.

Scammer - picks a common name (like Julie) and if you know one (as I do) they pretend Julie has a new number and tell you to delete the old number. Then they ask you to send the details i.e. names and numbers of everyone you both know - so they can be scammed (and they will as the scammers will then have names. I sent them details of Mickey Mouse, Donald Trump and the Queen. DO NOT GIVE YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS NUMBERS OUT

Told her to b***er off and hung up. Cannot see any record of thios company in St Helens where the call came from.
