SCAM Claimed to be a debt collector with no company name or Client Reference Number. Was advised to block and avoid.
Received an abandoned call on 22/03/2023. I called back and they immediately knew my name as they could see my number (despite it being withheld). After much persuasion on my part, they told me they were DIRECT AFFINITY EUROPE and had been given my details by a Hull motor dealer (D.M. Keith) to chase a 'lost sale'. But I had told D.M Keith that my number should never be passed to any third party!
This number tex me from the Manchester area, insisting that i had anHalifax account i opened wanting details. I don't even have an account with the Halifax. ITS FRAUD DO NOT ANSWER IT.
Solution to problem of this number is to attain Sync.ME on your smartphone when number calls again tell Sync.ME to BLOCK it. Company have called me from 0141 367 2893, 0845 286...

These numbers +44 8453304800, +44 1132735400 and +44 1132732500 have been calling and pestering me for months now, but I never answered the first time they called me as they made out they were student finance and a part of me believed them as the person whom I spoke to had a Scottish accent, but as soon as they asked me to pay £700 over the phone and of course not online this way there is less evidence that I have paid them and of course I said I didn t have that kind of money can I give it to you tomorrow

Was called by this number early in the morning with an automated message regarding an Amazon Prime subscription I had not renewed and was going to be charged £95 because of this oversight. I could press one number to speak to an adviser and another to contest it. I did neither as it was clearly a scam. Interesting that this was a landline - it makes me wonder if they forgot to press 'number withheld'. Would think this could be investigated

Pre-recorded message claiming to be from bank saying there had been two suspicious transactions and giving options to press 1 or 2, depending on what response mine was. Voice was good RP English. 012 5555 4810 rings me regularly and keeps hanging up, they don’t leave a voicemail either. I no longer answer the landline phone, I wait till calls go into voicemail. I have told friends and family to leave a message and I will pick-up the phone as soon as I recognise the caller or the reason for the call or I will call back.
