These have been calling me non stop for days, the number comes up without the 0 at the beginning and when i tried to call it back i got an elderly lady who said i had rung her landline and she has had several calls from people asking her why she has rung them! Caller claimed I had been involved in a car accident, I know I have not. I asked him who he was repeatedly, he would not say and finally put the phone down.

Assume from previous post that this is a telemarket company. I no longer pick up the phone until I hear a familiar voice or recognise the caller as genuine; then do 1471; then a ph. no. enquiry site. My friends have got used to this and it saves more aggravation.

thid number called me at 10.50 and i said hello and at the other end was an irish lady saying who is this u called my mobile number and i aint called no mobile numbers today so she hung up and i tried to do 1471 but it kept making a funny tone it took me 10 mins to b able to do 1471 bit weird as this is a land line number not a mobile
