I received an automated voice message claiming to be from Amazon Prime, saying that my Amazon Prime account will continue and that a sum of money would be removed from my bank account for this. I do not have an Amazon Prime account and have never had one, so I'm sure that this was a scam call. I'm afraid that I didn't listen to the full message to find out what it was asking me to do.

But then after thinking about it I realised I didn t take out a loan at that time . they sent out forms and I haven t filled them in . they ve rang non stop ever since. This is a scam number. informed me that i £600 had been illegally taken from my bank. they disconnected me when i asked them to verify the name of the bank. I have reported it to fraud line.

I have BT guardian which asks callers to announce who they are before I answer. Most sales calls hang up at that point, this one didn't. Lovely lady explained that I could have a half hour appointment to check energy efficiency of my home and advise of any improvements. I made the appointment. Very polite young man called Adam arrived, checked the loft and roof, looked around, discussed my energy payment per month. The information given was useful, nothing to sign, no sales pitch. I would have no worries.
