Usual PPI scam. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. NEVER RETURN A CALL to an unknown number and NEVER PRESS ANY NUMBERS if told to...
At best this a company that breaks the PECR regulations by calling people on the TPS list. At worst it s a scam preying on older people because they don t seem to have a website and are asking whether you re over 65. Don t give them any information, just report them to the Information Commissioner s Office. T

Female with Scouse accent wanting to help with our minor accident - news to me. This all evolves from some motor insurance database - sick of people calling.
I received an automated voice message claiming to be from Amazon Prime, saying that my Amazon Prime account will continue and that a sum of money would be removed from my bank account for this. I do not have an Amazon Prime account and have never had one, so I'm sure that this was a scam call. I'm afraid that I didn't listen to the full message to find out what it was asking me to do.
Caller rings off when I answer the phone. The number they are calling has been a business line for ten years or more.

Got a call from this number, the person added me on skype asking to place an ad on gumtree for them. Very pushy and harassing, went through with it as far as I could just for fun. They didn t give a name of company, but said that they were calling in relation to the recently announced scrappage scheme and were calling everyone in my neighbourhood in order to allocate a fund of ?650,000 accordingly to assist homeowners to make energy efficient improvements to their home. SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.
