I had my details sold by Car Phone Warehouse, after buying phones....... told ICO hope someone does something as in their terms and conditions there is wording relating to this, but no opt in or opt out..... it s just wrong, I pay for a service, a phone and then they sell my details on.... why .... never ever have I had such texts/ calls as I do now all within a day of purchasing something from their site...

Who are these people takein money from my bank account

Left two messages and asked to speak to a relation that has never lived here. I rang company and they asked if I had the same surname, told them I didn t, they asked if he had ever lived here, then asked for my home phone no. Gave it to her and she said that it had been deleted, I asked if they had my address, lady got very rude and told me not to worry about it anymore and then put the phone down. Why she should be rude to me I don t know. It my address that will have the bad debt attached to it.

Data gatherer. Said she was updating a 118 listing but wasn t convinced so hung up.

The caller hung up after a few rings, I didn t have time to get to the phone, so rang the number which 1471 gave me. Result - "Sorry, this number has not been recognised"

A woman said my "BT" line and computer access about to end - unless - crap

As mentioned in other reports this is Consumer Care Direct, their return contact number is 0161 814 9588, they just keep calling even though there is no interest

As soon as I answered the phone was put down.

I ve just recived call from this number. Man on the phone was saying he work as a Mortgage Adviser and it s connected with Halifax bank. He had my previous house address and was saying that it is address I ve got my mortgage on. I ve disconnected immediately. Don t give them any of your details!

The people on the other end of this phone have confirmed by letter they are delivering me a phone on 23rd August 2012 and that my current phone will be switched off on 26th. I am now receiving phone calls telling me I am entitled to a free upgrade and cheaper phone rate. The new scam is they only want you to say YES they then record the questions and add the YES that you said to produce the questionair .

The guy just went straight into a script, no explanation of why he was calling or what the company were about. I put the phone down, "Grants" and Windows were mentioned.
