Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.

SCAM Robo call purporting to be Jason from Cybercell. There's unauthorised activity on my BT line and press 1 to speak to a supervisor or my internet will be cut off. I did and another guy wanted me to enter something into Google. I ended the call. I don't have a BT line. Clearly a SCAM.

I am sick to death of the daily calls from this number all times of day no message left etc I have found out it is a sky number based in Cardiff but do not answer or call back getting really sick of it now need to find out how to block this number it s a nuisance especially as I am already with sky!
