I am sick to death of the daily calls from this number all times of day no message left etc I have found out it is a sky number based in Cardiff but do not answer or call back getting really sick of it now need to find out how to block this number it s a nuisance especially as I am already with sky! Looked like a London number so picked up as thought it was a work call. The caller, who insisted on calling me "luvvie", told me it was about the life policy on my house??!! Told her I wasn t interested, but have received another call this morning (ignored).

Didn t answer the call and came here to check the number. Lots of these apparently foreign numbers are actually originating in the UK by using software diallers that mask the caller s true location.As other posters suggest, a good rule of thumb is - if the number looks suspicious it probably is.

Warranty Direct- endless phone calls at all hours including well into the evening. Ringing them back leads to endless auto prompts- none of which offer Don t phone any more - its all about sales. So never use the on line quotation form- prices grossly excessive and they won t give up harassing you once they have your number. They always cut off as soon as they hear an answer phone.

message begins "Barclays, Lloyds, TSB...". I have reported it to the Information Commissioners Office (IC0) at ico.org.cuk. I personally believe that these people should not be permitted to have these numbers unless they reveal their identity. Anyone who accepts goods or services from an unnamed company that cold calls them has got to be daft!

They rang several times, when I answered it there was some background noise, but no-one speaks, then they cut it off.

This is a loan broker - They actually did leave me a message which I appreciated. And I did make an enquiry about a loan so I have no issue with the way this company works. I didn t speak to them, just ignored the call as usual but listened to the message and the person didn t really sound like a blood thirsty sales man. Interestingly since making the enquiry - I have received well over 50 calls and this is the first to leave a message and the number was not unknown when they called.

Accidentally clicked their ad when trying to find Direct Line on the net. Realised half way through completing their form so closed the browser. 10 mins later phone call received. I hadn t even pressed submit!! Anyway, number blocked, won t be bothered by these chancers again.
