This number called my Portuguese phone number asking to confirm if I was Carmo Silva, insisted with it which I confirmed, and hung up after it without telling me why the call and how he obtained my number. The man said he was Miguel and was calling from Global something ... is this a Scam or fraud??! Thanks.

Just had call from a guy from this number asking me about my life insurance. Told him not to call my number again he replied I will call this number every day of your life told him I would make a complaint he replied I will call you tomorrow at 6pm told him not to call ever again as it s cold calling., he replied it s not cold calling I am warm He was aggressive and said I was stupid. Very very bad caller.

Rang my mobile briefly and then stopped. No message left. Probably trying to get me to call them back. I ve had a lot of this type of call lately and they re always from telemarketers or accident claims hawkers, so draw your own conclusions about this one.

Rang for an unknown person gave me some nonsense. Requested to be removed from their database.

Someone called George from a football pools organisation. I have no dealings with any football pools company so I cut the call.

Caller s English not brilliant. I had trouble understanding her (and vice versa). Wanted to send out a ?50 Tesco or Waitrose voucher to me once she confirmed my name and address. Told her I don t give details over the phone to people I don t know. She rang off.

Has regularly called each day for some weeks but never leaves a voicemail. I never take 08 calls as I feel they re notorious for belonging to folks looking to do some sort of business or wanting to make money from me in some way - I shall be the one to choose who I engage and intend to pay for ANY service, and not the person who happens to come across my number somehow. A company called Motor Investigations telephoned me at 5.58pm on 6th Oct 2016. Supposedly calling regarding a claim in the past 12 months. (I ve not made a claim in the last 12 years!!). Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT.
