Said they were from customer care but the line was very crackly and couldnt hear what else, she was English which surprised me.
Claimed to be from HMRC about my National Insurance number and to say that my number has been involved in fraudulent activity and that they we're suspending my NI number and to press 1 to speak with an officer. I will report this to HMRC and the police action fraud website. This number called and I did not recognise the number so I did not answer it. I then tried to ring it back to see who was calling and the message I got was "this number is not recognised so I can only guess it is another scam call.

Has phoned me 3 times in last week. Asian male asks for me by name then when asked who they are and what do they want they hang up.
