Called to tell me that I had a problem with my computer and they would be able to sort it out for me. As soon as company details were requested, they rang off.

SCAM FRAUD. I got a call from a 07 mobile number prior to this call. Both of them is an automated message saying a letter from HRM Revenue was sent to you but was returned. Legal action will be taken against you, press 1 to bla bla bla. I didn’t even bother to listen to the rest because there is no reason for HRM Revenue to contact me. Suspicious call claiming to be from Virgin Media regarding my internet. Line quality was terrible & the agents accent was really thick, so very hard to understand her. Wanted me to download something, hung up. Confirmed with Virgin Media that no issues with my internet & this was a scam.

Internet claiming to be from BT open reach telling me I have an issue with my internet. Had a very strong accent, so I apologised and said I couldnt understand her very well so I would call BT immediately to find out what the issue was. She didnt have any response to this, will note as annoying as no idea if it would have been a dangerous scam had I not hung up, but as she was telling me to check my router then come back & they would 'fix it' I would assume this is where it was heading!!!
