Fraud, Saying they where from DWP. First started out as an automated call with a synthetic voice saying I have committed fraud and my national insurance number has been suspended... Yikes They did not know me, they asked for my name. This is a bot calling random numbers in order to hoaks innocent people. The call is forwarded to a person who askes for your name. DO NOT TELL THEM ANYTHING.

I ve received a call on my mobile phone today from 0161 939 0236 telling me that I ve had a loan and I m entitled to a refund plus interest because I was mis sold the loan. In the first place neither my husband or myself have had a loan from our bank or on any credit card. The caller went on to name all the credit cards that I could own and from any bank (naming banks) that I may have had a card or loan from. Female caller claiming to be checking if I was still receiving unwanted calls. Confirmed name and address as this can be generally obtained. However, started asking about credit card details. I replied that she was asking too many personal questions which TPS would not do and hung up.
