Received a call from this Dublin number. With an American voice, I was told that I owed money to the HMRC and I had not responded to a letter I had been sent. Clearly a scam.
Rethink Energy UK (Environmental conservation organisation). Called a couple of times, sometimes silent. Asked about arranging a free energy survey.

As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.

Cynical call, a day after receiving a SSE dividend, an unsolicited call from the USA about my share holding. An Indian sounding person, in a call centre, who had to asked on whose behalf he was calling. Then said it was some form of financial company. As if one would talk about your shares to an unknown person, acting for an off-shore company. Initially he was trying to make me believe he was connected to SSE.

Said she was calling from BT open reach about my internet being hacked. Said she would not ask for any personal or bank details. Asked if I had given my internet password to anyone outside my house. I kept asking her for her details but she then asked me if I had a mobile phone. I knew she was scamming and asked her to shut up for one moment and she then said and you shut up two and then she hung up. This would have been dangerous if I had let her download any app or software to my phone

Rang at 1612, on a landline I have never used, rang out. I did 1471 to get number WGC as others, dead line when I called number, just ignore and block.
Claiming they call from HMRC with a court case against your name. After started asking questions about some proof they work for HMRC, they started panicking and said I can look up the case on the website of UK's Supreme Court. Plot twist - there is no Supreme Court in the UK.

I was unable to answer the call from this number because my screen was playing up. It did not light up in any way so I couldn't see how to answer or anything. A few minutes later I needed to make a call so I spent some time getting the screen to light up in order to dial out. Surprisingly this number was still calling me. Colder Caller DBS - Direct Business Solutions taking advantage of the current affairs with Ukraine to try and sell utility business solutions. I said several times politely to take our number off the call list, asked to speak to the right person, I said no they wouldn't be interested and to again take the number off their list, said the managing directors name and again stated we we were not interested. He was very cocky, rude and would take no for an answer so cut him off.
