So, which authority do you report this to?
I rang the number from a different phone to the one they called and reached a recorded message saying it was First Call Group or something similar, and advising to send them an e-mail with phone and e-mail details so they wouldn't contact me again. I've added the number to my blocked list on my mobile and left it at that.

Argos Derby kept texting me on Friday evening telling me my order is on its way to me. But its not my name and not even the right country. I havent ordered anything and Im in Scotland!! The delivery drivrr called me when he was 20 mins away from delivering it. I told him I doubt you woill be able to do that as Im in Scotland. I googled the number after the phone call and this came up PPI Claims gladstonebrookes.co.uk/PPI_Claim Reclaim PPI With Gladstone Brookes. We ve Recovered ?128m in 2012! I think they need to teach the tele sales staff some manners or better still close the company.

'Chris' told me he was from a Claims Company based in Truro and he was calling about a previous ppi claim that I had been underpaid for. He was quite convincing giving me the company reg no & address so I could confirm he was legit! He knew my address/DOB and the details of my previous claim. The Claims Company only has 2 employees, neither based in London! Definitely a scam beware as he was very convincing and never asked for bank details! He called back today, probably for bank details - I didn't
