Called from this number purporting to be from HMRC telling me I was implicated in a fraud and that I needed to press one to speak to a person at HMRC. Pressing 1 puts you through to a call centre that was obviously not in the UK. I suspect it is an attempt to get money fraudulently.

Similar number 3330459804 is already reported here with bank fraud department - probably this one is the same case, same call centre? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Received call apparently from a bot at Santander, on a mobile number I had given them. It appeared to know my name & day/month of birth, and details of two recent transactions I made on the account. It asked for only very limited information (year of birth) and confirmation that the transactions were genuine (they were). So, probably OK.

Call center Said his name was Dale from consultive and was following up a call for a colleague on furlough. Then proceeded to ask about our eon contract due to expire next month. At this point I hung up as he was clearly just on a fishing for information and lied about it being a call back. He then tried to call us back but I didn't answer at which point he gave up. I never trust someone who rings up and lies to me so I can only assume that they were concealing their true intentions
Do not know who called as I did not give them the time to say who they were. An Indian sounding man wanted to speak with another family member (who uses my address for parcel delivery, he is always at work) so clearly his name and my address are being sold on to scammers. Be careful with this one.
