Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2081445xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident management services - classical "non fault car accident you had", insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new?

I have received around 10 calls from this tel number in the last 2 days. From what I understand its a phone number somewhere in France and I have no idea of who it is.

SCAM This number sends a text pretending to be from The HALIFAX and saying that a new payee has been added to your account, "if this was not you please visit ...." and a website url. The website is VERY genuine looking but its NOT HALIFAX and is a phishing site asking you to log in to your account. DO NOT TOUCH !!!

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - sometimes energy companies. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason! Probably I am wrong with this one but started

just a drop call, probably a premium rate number with a presentation CLI so when you call back you're charged a silly amount. Don't bother answering or replying.
