These people claim to be life insurance but are abusive and rude on the phone. They won't stop calling

I have listed this as scam SCAM but I do answer unknown out of the blue calls. I believe that if the caller dosen't bother to leave a message, it can't be serious and is probably up to no good. As soon as the caller got the answerphone message they immediately killed the call.

Housing disrepair scam I didn't answer them, but I phoned back and instantly Asian woman says my name ,so I decided to play along for a little while, until she asked me for personal details so I gave her the address of my local police station

man with Indian accent claimed to be from my bank, but when asked 'which bank?' he hung up

Claimed to be hm revenues and police were gonna talk to me because they were taking legal action against the fact a letter did not get sent to me.

SPAM guess ? They rang at 08.45 and silent. They there was a click, a background noise, then they hung up. Very annoying. Luckily I’m not old and infirm but this could unsettle an older person.

Scam call from an automated male English voice indicating a suspicious credit card transaction to an American gambling website. This same message was also received 5 minutes earlier on a different number 01590 674 555. Clearly a scam!

SCAM Third Chelmsford number blocked today. They hung up when I answered but upon dialling the number displayed, was met with automated message saying CB Brokers or CD Brokers. Suspect it's the same scumbags who have been scamming my elderly mother for a number of years by signing her up for appliance insurance for appliances she doesn't own. someone rang me on this number 27.02.23. re; 'bank security' obviously a scam

This number is from a batch of similar numbers: 07488871686. 07488871703. 07488871758, 07488871735, 07488871757, 07488871649, 07488871624, 07488871560, 07488871705. Many have been missed calls and the rest I let ring out. I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. Whoever they are, they have the ability to have or create many numbers. They get blocked and move onto another number and call back.

had a call pre-recorded call from this number claiming someone was trying to carry out a transaction for £900 from my Visa Debit Card (not specific about which one) and asking to confirm if it was me. Seems dodgy.

SCAM Fraud - Said they were from Sky offering refund because of issues with phone and internet- We don't have any sky package and the person had quoted the family name but were sketchy with first name and even misspelt it when I was pushing who they wanted to talk to and then they hanged up when I said it was a scam call.

Then wanted details from me !! Total scam and in breach of the rules set out by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), including specific guidelines about how they contact you. Received a call from this number, from someone saying they where a company called Stay Solutions that organised tours, and where looking for partners to link up with for accommodation for their tour clients. They didn't know my name, they didn't have my email address. I am a bed and breakfast, and they said it was for a group of 5. I can only take 4 persons in a booking. I was suspicious, and I think they are using this telephone number illegally, its a scam beware!
