Progress Housing (a Lancashire-based housing association) called. We told them that we own our own house and they hung up. May well be a genuine error (we live in their area), but could be a phishing scam.

Line was silent when I picked up phone then “clicked” off after about 3 secs; probably scammers multi calling.

Daily calls for a week. I finally answered it to find it was an energy company trying to get me to switch. After 14 mins on phone I told the bloke I wasn t interested and needed to end the call. The bloke then became very rude and I ended up hanging up on him. Very poor customer service.

Apparently a company dealing with PPI Claims...only picked up call as it came from an area code I recognised as I used to live there...

NEVER call an unknown number back as you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will cause a large charge to be added to your bill.

This is a highly trained telemarketing sales scam whereby they try to convince you about the coloured diamond market - this is not for the novice investor - they source it sell it - recommend dealers - recommend retailers - show you how its worth 4 times the value when it retails bla bla bla and then sell it for you. This calls many times each day. So annoying, i dont answer because i know they are from Vodafone.

Recorded message claiming to be from Amazon in attempt to get me to call chargeable number and give away bank details. FRAUD ATTEMPT, BEWARE!!
