I had somebody come to the house and quote me on new windows. They said that they were doing a discount because of some government scheme but after quoting me a ridiculous price the salesman informed me that the discount was suddenly going to run out and that I had about 24 hours to agree to buy the windows. The person who came to the house was very polite but the company don t have a good reputation, and the prices are ridiculous, I d recommend not answering.

This number has called my mobile several times this week (office hours)but no messages have been left. I called the number back today and it just went through to call waiting music as if on hold so I hung up immediatly. The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from.
