Got a call from this number through TU Go app at precisely the same time as a call from a PPI company through my phone (which I didn t answer either) from 01792 211847 a PPI number. Are they linked?

SCUM.

Was a call center with a whole host of background noise of other people talking on other phones. Said I couldn t hear what they were saying twice and then they just hung up.

Recorded message saying tax fraud comitted in my name and HMRC will issue an arrest warrant if I don t press 1

I just had a call from this number too, claiming to be "D M Experts". The person he asked to speak to, Ben , does not exist on my number or at my address and I have been plagued with calls lately from some company claiming to be something to do with the Office of Fair Trading, who also always asks for Ben , but they have the sense to block their number. Just another poor sod sitting in a cramped call-centre on minimum wage wanting to know if I d ever had PPI. I let the young lady drone on for a bit, dangling the carrot of a sale in front of her, lulling her into a false sense of hope, before hanging up. Have received numerous calls from this number however they keep hanging up when I answer the phone. I called them back only to be greeted by an automated message telling me that I could remove my details simply by pressing number 2. I did this and since then the calls have increased to 4 or 5 calls a day. I have now blocked the number from my phone.

They keep ringing morning noon & night!!!! Its British Gas "Non urgent call" unquote. They told me to ring back on 0800 072 4150 to stop all future calls which will take up to 28 days to action!

I got my fifth call from this number today around 8 (I m with emobile and never answer it), they left a voicemail just saying hello and hung up. Seems suspicious
