recorded message "problem with broadband, being disconnected in 24 hours, press option 1 to speak to supervisor." This is probably a premium charged connection if you press 1, but unsure. Be aware, probably a Scam call.

SCAM Sounds like a scam. Indian voice says he's from Sky and local people are using my internet. Asking questions about my modem etc. I put the phone down and he keeps ringing.......persistent and pushy.

When I answer, it rings another number so I cut it off before that one was answered. I can only imagine this works as a reverse charge call because effectively you end up calling them. I have been called once a day for the past week by this number. Guess it is an advertising call centre or something. But will probably never find out because I cut them off.

Phone rang at approx 7.30pm Sat 25 Oct 2014. Answered and said "Hello". An Asian woman asked for me by name, but there was a lot of noise in the background so immediately made me think that this was wrong. I am the first to comment but I notice I m the 176th person who has tried to find out of this is a dodgy scam/marketing call. I would say the chances are quite high that it is. Let your telephone do the work. If there is no voicemail left then there is no urgency to speak with them!

Had a call from 01392466432 supposedly from British telecom about a cash refund.This call is a complete scam.Don t be fooled if you get such a call.
Arrived within email - “thedomainbureau.co.uk” Very suspect email.. looks like a domain renewal scam .. fake invoices for real domain renewals. I phoned the number - said they were a Utility discount company or words to the effect that they give quotes for cheaper utilities.. the woman answering did not recongnise “domain bureau” - which suggests what? Either folk at that business are running (multiple) scams, or denial is how they avoid people confronting them.. “plausible denialbilty”
