I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. Calling an investment opportunity I have allegedly registered for! Absolute rubbish!!!

Call center . Answered call, silence from caller apart from call centre din in background. Call ended. So must be scammers!! Polite callers will always speak/say hello.

I believe this number is being used by scam callers. I received a text inviting me to call back, purporting to be from HSBC about a potential fraudulent payment. I would suggest that any recipient ignores any calls or texts from this number. Since it is a premium number any return calls will be outside normal free call packages. HSBC always use free call numbers if they request someone to call back.

SCAM - a recorded message claiming to be from the national crime office stating that my National Insurance number has been associated with various crimes (or some such drivel). Who would have thought the national crime office were using a plain old 3 network number instead of a private number? Not the first time I've heard from these twits. Number now blocked.
