Hmrc revenue scam

Automated voice messaging informing that £500 for gambling + another amount was taken from my account. I replaced the handset after being instructed to press 1, 2 or 3. Checked my account none the less. It was definitely a scammed call.

Very bad line for one reason - call them back. Also, after few seconds of conversation they just put the phone down. Annoying imbeciles!

Accident claims company.

I responded to an e mail advising me I could claim money off my electricity bill. I left details. Now I keep getting sms messages, "I tried to call you today", call this number. I called the number 01242 343001 and immediately put in a queue, I hung up. A few minutes later, phone rang, picked up immediately and heard the auto message again, "I tried to call you today," I am assuming this is a new type of pest, trying a new technique to reel folk in. i am away to block calle

I was called today by an Asian woman who said she was from BT. I asked her for her EIN employee Identification number. She gave me a number in the wrong format. When I told that was not an EIN she put the phone down. Be vigilant with these types of calls

Knew the name of the person owning the phone no., but had no clue who actually has the internet connection, me, it is not a BT connection, and is working fine.

they keep calling my very depressed daughter and are causing her great distress and that I rate as very dangerous

This is some landline from London area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. All of them are used for some kind of telemarketing (sometimes also cold calling), seems to be working for non-profit organizations (Cancer Research UK and similar), but in fact nuisance. People did someone answer this number?

SCAM / SPAM The last two digits sre different but the rest of the number is the same. So I assume may be connected as could have numerous lines with a similar number just last two numbers different. Anyway it was a recorded message claiming to be from BT saying our broadband IP address had been hacked and would be switched off within 24 hours and to press 1 for more info.
