I was charged ?18 in June and a further ?30 in July for a series of texts (?6 per texts) on my mobile bill. Fraudulent call centre(could hear this in the background) saying I had been victim of a fraud on my Amazon account which had had £1200 charged go the credit card linked to the account. Called number back using Jabber at work.. After ringing for a while a recorded message from a well spoken gent says Please hold the line someone will be with you shortly 3 repeat messages later and 3 min s later a female with an accent says Goodby So confirmed it is scam !
