Says it comes from HSBC but is a private mobile phone. Suspected fraud!

sounded like she was claiming to be from BT broadband, but accent sounded foreign so I did not press what she asked me to, and hung up ...

A man (in a noisy office) wantimg me to get free cavity wall & loft insulation through the goverment scheme. When i told them i had my loft done in 2007 they said id need it doing again. When i said id had a company come today to do a survey & they confirmed i didnt need anymore loft insulation the man on the phone then said he was from the company that had visited me today! She started asking me questions (personal info) I asked her questions - she told me to listen, I then told her to listen and she told me to go to hell. These companies need to be stopped who do they think they are.

They told me id had an accident... (which I didn t) so I told them id just done a poo in my pants if they would like to help me with my accident !! They then got annoyed which I found hilarious as after the conversation was over it was them annoyed and not me! That s the way to deal with these harassing fools!

Just another poor sod sitting in a cramped call-centre on minimum wage wanting to know if I d ever had PPI. I let the young lady drone on for a bit, dangling the carrot of a sale in front of her, lulling her into a false sense of hope, before hanging up. Nothing personal, love; I hope you find a proper job one day. Mind you, this PPI call is a symptom of this illness that is modern Britain: a nation of betting shops, payday loan companies and call centres - all thanks to successive Labour and Tory governmen

Hung up very quickly when rumbled.. I have not had an RTA / Accident this century! I have blocked the number on my CPR told him nothing and reported the number to GMP on 101. I d like to think that was Game, Set and Match to me!! But you never know so be careful out there!

RAC called to check if I m aware my breakdown cover will lapse today. Even after advising that I was happy letting it lapse there was no hard sell, no pressure.
