Scammers. These issue threats to arrest unless money is payed to Amazon, but they are NOT from Amazon. If they call you, put the phone down (press red).

Scammers who claim to be from "Telephone Preference Management" and try to get your debit card details on the pretext (ironically) of blocking nuisance calls. Preying on the elderly and gullible, as usual. Nasty.

This number has been calling for month, plus this number has been ringing me sometimes right after each other and it is a nuisance sometimes 6 or 7 times a day. PPI/Bank Charges claim company. Latest one is Endowment Policies. Aside from just hanging up, I find the best course of action with these guys is to just lie to them. Give them made-up details so they waste their time with fruitless nonsense. Tell them you paid PPI on a Swiss bank account with ?10m in funds given to you by a Nigerian prince. Keep calm and tell absurd lies, and this kind of call actually starts to be a lot of fun!
