Very Heavily accented caller on a poor line which I suspect originated overseas. Purporting to be from the number blocking department of my phone line provider offering to stop all the Spam phone calls I had been receiving recently. Asking for banking information. When challenged was unable to provide even basic information to me and hung up.

They asked for staff member by name but he doesn t deal with our energy supplies. They re just time wasting chancers, don t get caught.
Didn t recognise the number, so didn t answer, caller left no message. If it was a genuine call they they would have, wouldn t they, so probably a junk call.

Will promise you to make make huge profit but all bullshit. they are intrensing in your money. I get calls from this number, when I asked where they got my number from was told the standard lie "opt-in data" or "they bought a list of numbers". These people are liars as they wanted to help me reclaim money IF i had taken out any credit - I have never taken out any credit so they are just trying their luck and calling anyone and harrassing them. A slight twist on other reviews, as claiming to have ?2500.75 (very precise) owing to my daughter, on my phone, for an incident 2-3 years ago, or when pressed, in the last 4 years (all very imprecise!). Asked for company name and told Motor Investigations. I haven t acted on behalf of my daughter on my phone for over 10 years now, so old contact lists being obtained from somewhere. Will be reporting to Ofcom.

Recorded message from the 'Bank Security centre' (apparently one bank security centre for all the banks....) reporting unusual card activity, £300 to Amazon & £1000 internationally, press 1 to cancel, 2 to speak to operative... Fraudulent call, not sure where to report it though. This is an illegal call, criminals... You can listen to the recorded message and then report it please, on the website: actionfraud.police.uk
The same recorded message about them "urgently trying to contact me". Energy related, mentions solar panels too, and concludes by saying they are UK based and government funded. The recording always states that you can press 2 to talk free to their adviser, but I never do in case this is redirected to a premium-rate number. I ve reported it to the ICO numerous times. Sometimes the same message arrives without a return number. Wish I knew how to stop this.
