The guy said he was from Ecosave Power, which, having read the above, was true. However, he then asked if I had received my renewal paperwork, so I asked if he could tell me who my energy supplier was (I have recently changed suppliers, so would not be expecting any renewal paperwork yet). He said he would call me back - I said no, I can hold on, so he hung up. If that s not suspicious, what is?!

I picked up the phone on the second ring and asked who was there and whoever it was just hung up.

Automated message talking about H&M and that I would be arrested if I didn t press 1 and talk with someone. SCAM obviously.

This was from DFS as a follow up to a finance agreement I took out with them. Basically telling me I have been authorised to spend a whole lot more if I want.

It's a company called RTA Legal Advice, looking to help you claim on an accident you probably didn't have....

As everybody else said, an indian man called with lots of background noise claiming to be from Talktalk. He said there was a problem with the internet running slowly. Had I noticed this? I realised it was a scam and thought I d play along for a little. He asked if I had a PC or laptop so I lied and told him that I only had a tablet. repeatedly rings early evening. If asked the company or her name they hang up. They do not with hold their telephone number. rang them on their direct line 01792311578 and they gave me a false 0800 number to complain to. A repeat call to the direct line said they would get their customer service dept to ring me back. They never did. AVOID
