Just had this number call - but I never pick up the phone. Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. My advice, which works a treat: tell all your real contacts to call you for the first 4 or 5 beeps, then to put the phone down. Rude Asian man telling me about a problem with my computer. His supervisor called me back and asked why I had been rude to his staff. I told him that he was rude by saying that he would put a block on my computer and I would have to pay to get it working again. The 3rd call was just shouting at me in a foreign language. Calls 4 and 5 were silent but I could hear the same people in the background.

Spam, claim to be from Ministry of Justice... PPI scam etc etc... called them back and said Alah was a child molester and I got and earful of abuse, they're probably trying...

this no keeps calling me every day saying they are from EE & trying to sell me phones & tablets etc. they are nothing to do with EE and I think they are a scam.

i get one or two calls from this number to my mobile (a talk talk contract). When you call back it goes nowhere - now worried that this may be a result of talk talk being hacked recently

Repeated calls, immediate disconnect upon answering.

Irrelevant whether you give your number out, as these people just use auto diallers, which take no account of ex directory, TPS etc status.
