Scam call about suspicious amazon order.
It was a dead call. It rang, I answered. Several seconds of silence later and the call dropped. Another site has a claim that it is a debt management company. I could not tell. Ringing and hanging up to encourage a call back seems to be on the rise. I would say that there is no reason to trust it.

SCAM, he said his name was Adam Scott from Microsoft telling me my computer was at risk, giving me specific codes for my computer and saying I needed to turn it on.... My laptop takes 20 mins to start up and when I said this to him he said don't worry it won't take long... I think the longer your on call with these guys the worse it can get

Asian man claiming to be calling on behalf of Microsoft....usual "your computer security has been compromised". Knew my name and address. Let him go on for a while and then I got fed up/annoyed and just told him he was lying and stopped the call.

Asked how he knew that, told me it is in his database, I asked what details he had about me and my property in his database and to treat that question as a GDPR request with 28 days to comply before I report this to the Government Information Commissioner. Recorded message purporting to be from Amazon. Apparently someone placed an order for an iPhone 12 on my account (the bold- faced cheek of some people, eh?) and somehow Amazon found this to be suspicious (probably because me and Jeff are really big buddies!) and wanted me to address it as they didn't want me to be out of pocket (to anyone other than themselves no doubt!). If I hadn't hung up, they'd have been asking for all kinds of personal detail of my account. But I hung up before they asked.
When answered, just heavy breathing and then hung up?

This number has called my mobile several times this week (office hours)but no messages have been left. I called the number back today and it just went through to call waiting music as if on hold so I hung up immediatly. Had over ?3 on my my pay as you go phone but after ringing this number my credit had gone down to ?1.11. DON T TRUST THIS NUMBER AND DEFINATELY DON T PHONE IT!!

They told me they work together with UK company called Green Energy UK. I contacted Green Energy UK and in fact they do not corporate with anyone. I was offered to meet and talk about benefits of having solar panels, but I doubt I go because they were already lying to me about their corporation.
