Claimed to be from Virgin Media about an internet connection. Worrying signs, firstly did not have my name as a contact or any reason to indicate I have an Virgin account. Also they are using a local number, for a very small area, which to my knowledge does not have a Virgin office.

This was a recorded message to say illegal activity had been on my internet which would be cut off in 24 hours. I was to press 1 to speak to someone. Clearly an attempt to get into my computer so cut it off.

This Company called to question my working history. They said that a recent change in the UK legislation meant that many more workers were due to compensation for hearing issues. Caller said he was Virgin Media Technical Department and believed I was having trouble with my internet speed. He wanted me to do a speed test but when I said that I couldn't do that he disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never phoned me in the past. As far as I'm aware, Virgin never phone customers when there's any problem so I'm rating this call as dangerous.

SPAM call offering iPhones but when you question them they can not answer a single question because they don't understand what you are saying. I never signed up to their service and this call is illegal as I'm on the TPS and it breaches GDPR.
Are very polite and asking questions about moving to Canada, after that the ask you to pay 279 US Dollars. When I ask for a confirmation by e-mail before I pay. They don't want to send an e-mail. And you have to pay directly.
