SPAM, My house Phone has now rung 3 times this morning, Saturday, was still in bed for the first 2 which were both before 9am, so no idea what the first numer was, second was 01692617827, neither of the first 2 left a message, despite having an answer machine, the third number was this one, called at 9:54, which I picked up as soon as it rang, as I was right next to the phone, said hello, twice, no reply, then it rang off.

Man with an extremely conk Indian accent but calling himself something like James Jeferson phoned me a day after I put my CV on line, I phoned back and told him I was at work but he said he would call me back; he kept repeating details that were on my CV saying he was just confirming them. Claimed to be from an insurance company. She said that he was calling about an accident that I ve never had. I told her to remove my number from their list.
Called himself Richard, came into my garden and offered to buy a car from me. Was not wearing a top, looked like a drinker. Seemed nice enough, but the encounter was a bit strange.
The con artist wanted money from me. But not with me. I know if I owe someone money.

Called from this number 08.31 today - caller claimed to be from my bank and that there had been suspicious payments on my bank card. This was followed by the usual requests that I press numbers to confirm or reject these payments, I did neither just hung up and checked my bank information.
Only a computer voice said "hello".

This company is a huge nuisance and should be fined. They do not screen against the TPS and do not remove people from the marketing list when asked. ALWAYS report this number to the Information Commisioner s Office. It is very say to do that on the ICO website. Because if enough people do that, they company will get a massive fine and hopefully be put out of business.

Arrived within email - “thedomainbureau.co.uk” Very suspect email.. looks like a domain renewal scam .. fake invoices for real domain renewals. I phoned the number - said they were a Utility discount company or words to the effect that they give quotes for cheaper utilities.. the woman answering did not recongnise “domain bureau” - which suggests what? Either folk at that business are running (multiple) scams, or denial is how they avoid people confronting them.. “plausible denialbilty”
