Number calls in although the phone does not ring, no idea who it is

Another pest, line went dead when I picked up the phone. This is an unwanted intrusion and should be made illegal. Wouldn t be surprised if it s an autodialler looking for live numbers, then they sell the number on.

This same number called me in the past three days- 17th 18th and 19th July - I can't call the number back( from 1741) - get a constant tone.

Has called many times,when you answer no person there just beep------beep.When you call back just fax type noise.
