Couldnt pronounce my surname properly. Said i wasnt me and they quoted my address. I said No youve got the wrong number. They apologised and hung up.

Answered phone, said "Hello" Nothing for 20 seconds, said "Hello" again. Nothing for 10 seconds, said "Some silly bast*rd winding me up". He spoke then, but I didn t hear as I was hanging up. I don t block them, I store the name under Spam and let them run their bill up.

called alot so i answered a few times without speaking and they hung up immediately. Then i answered and went along with "the nice man from Microsoft" who wanted to "fix" my computer. When i got to a step that would do something to my computer i told him i thought he was a fake and a terrible person for sucking people in and he got really angry and went off! These people are scum for hoaxing people who don t know computers, particularly elderly folk.

Thanks to internet info already provided I have simply ignored these calls as they came after 2 online purchases from Boots Kitchen Appliances - thank you.

Irritated by constant sales calls from this company. How much ink can a domestic user get through, for heaven s sake? Especially annoyed when caller hangs up as soon as you answer. Won t buy from them again if they persist with almost weekly calls.

Received 20 plus calls in one week probably using auto dialler. I use free call blocker to stop them.

Just had a stupid young boy breathing heavily down the phone and then he asked if I was the home owner. Then he said "wrong number" and put the phone down.

Arrived within email - “thedomainbureau.co.uk” Very suspect email.. looks like a domain renewal scam .. fake invoices for real domain renewals. I phoned the number - said they were a Utility discount company or words to the effect that they give quotes for cheaper utilities.. the woman answering did not recongnise “domain bureau” - which suggests what? Either folk at that business are running (multiple) scams, or denial is how they avoid people confronting them.. “plausible denialbilty”
