Man with strong Indian accent called to discuss my PPI claim. Just a scam as I ve checked and I ve never had PPI. Phone number is TPS by the way but that doesn t matter, toothless.

I just had a call from this number too, claiming to be "D M Experts". The person he asked to speak to, Ben , does not exist on my number or at my address and I have been plagued with calls lately from some company claiming to be something to do with the Office of Fair Trading, who also always asks for Ben , but they have the sense to block their number. I am the first to comment but I notice I m the 176th person who has tried to find out of this is a dodgy scam/marketing call. I would say the chances are quite high that it is. Let your telephone do the work. If there is no voicemail left then there is no urgency to speak with them!

Unrecognised number, no voicemail left, said the # originated in Birmingham. Have blocked the # based on the experiences reported here.

They keep calling me about having to register my electricity use - I work from home... Nothing makes them stop calling me.

Called claiming I could claim PPI, as soon as I said I'd never taken out a loan/CC etc. he put the phone down. I've now blocked the number.
