Phone scam wanting to transfer money for goods and arrange collection

Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. Called police, they had no record of anyone trying to ring my number nor did they recognise this 56677 number. Suspicious, also nasty if it is a scam, as I am now worried about whether or not the police are trying to contact me for genuine reasons. This company called and tried to take advantage of my 77 year old mother. When I rang to complain they hung up on me and when I called back and spoke to a manager, he was and I quote "I don t care what your think" Extremely unprofessional in the way they dealt with me and my complaint
