I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. A call from Carphone warehouse, using a LOCAL code - ie - 01324 trying to deceive you into thinking it s a local call. You answer, and it s OBVIOUSLY a CALL Centre (by all the noise in the background) and on questioning the guy, is clearly NOT in the Falkirk area. This type of local call is being used more and more.
Claiming to help provide a service against nuisance and scam calls (the irony..) then proceeded to request my card details - beware a SCAM. 14th December 2021.
