SCAM - Claiming I ordered an iPhone 13 through Amazon, decided to play along. He requested that I put him on speaker phone so he could run through filling a form in. Asked for him to send it through email, he said I (as in myself) am not authorised for email, whatever that means. I queried again that I assume I will be notified through email, and for some reason continued to state I am not authorised. I can't believe the guy actually thought I would enter a random URL in to fill in a form, must be nuts!

Just another poor sod sitting in a cramped call-centre on minimum wage wanting to know if I d ever had PPI. I let the young lady drone on for a bit, dangling the carrot of a sale in front of her, lulling her into a false sense of hope, before hanging up. Nothing personal, love; I hope you find a proper job one day. I am the first to comment but I notice I m the 176th person who has tried to find out of this is a dodgy scam/marketing call. I would say the chances are quite high that it is. Let your telephone do the work. If there is no voicemail left then there is no urgency to speak with them!

SCAM. The source of this call is in Russia and was a text message purportedly from a Hermes a delivery company and saying that they were unable to deliver an item. To get it delivered to reply. Obviously a big Russian scam. I have nothing on order from anyone either. Don't touch it if you get a message from this #.
Persistent calling mainly at the same time of day and upto 4 times a day, so I know which times to avoid answering the phone!
DPD is a delivery company (like UPS, Hermes, etc). However, the text is likely to be a scam, especially if it s asking you to pay a fee for the delivery.

Had a call from this number earlier today claiming to be Amazon security. Said that I had an order for over £300 on hold and did I want to cancel this, if so give them my mobile number so that they could reimburse my account. Told them that there was no such order and that I would check with Amazon myself and that I believed that they were scammers at which point they terminated the call. Did the check, nothing untoward on my account. Will report this to Amazon.
SCAM. Woman with strong Asian (sounded Indian) accent purporting to be calling from Microsoft informing me of urgent high risk to my computer etc---. I hung up and on checking discovered the number to belong to A&M Todd, a flooring company in Burnley.

Claimed to be from BT and re hackers. Utter bullshit and after personal details put phone down when I said its a scam isn t it.
Have received numerous calls from this number however they keep hanging up when I answer the phone. I called them back only to be greeted by an automated message telling me that I could remove my details simply by pressing number 2. I did this and since then the calls have increased to 4 or 5 calls a day. I have now blocked the number from my phone.
