01626818363 number called today (Wednesday 7/10/2015) asking to review and update my business details that were on their system.I asked him to repeat where he was calling from he said from Corp / Court Data, I replied that I had never heard of them. The caller apologized and said that he was sorry for any inconvenience and that he had called the wrong number. Sounds like (B** S****)to me, so possibly another money making scam.

Just called me regarding an attempted transaction to John Lewis. Said my account was ‘under attack’ and there had been several suspicious transactions. He said he would escalate my case to Level 3 fraud, set up a new account number and sort code with a random generated name. Phoned Santander fraud department who confirmed my account was safe - the scammer then called me back ‘No Caller ID’! so I told him in no uncertain terms that he was a scamming bastard and he could go forth and multiply.

When questioned how he had seen my details and what details and where he was based he said it was citizens advice in Manchester . I live in Somerset , I said goodbye and hung up. He spoke with an asian accent.

I am registered on the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and the Mailing Preference Service (MPS) but they are breaking the law by ignoring this. Had a call from this number where he had all of my details, name, number and full address. When I questioned him on how he obtained all my details considering I had never heard of them he said it was in their database. Constantly telling me he just wanted 50 seconds of my time I asked him to remove all my details from the system but he started getting shirty with me an adopted a bad attitude.

This number has rung my home phone number twice in 5 minutes (which is ex directory & on the TPS!) My daughter answered the phone & the woman was insistant Id been in a Road traffic accident, she didnt say she was from a claim company . My daughter was worried & rang me on my mobile to make sure I was ok .Devious & unnecessary cold calling leaving my daughter upset I will be reporting this number to the TPS ..
