SCAM - Loan scammer rang. I asked them to remove my details from their system and he started shouting and swearing at me.
"Peter" from "BT Open Reach" has had an online notification that the speed of our internet has dropped and that he will help us to improve it. He required us to be infront of our device. Had a call this morning from a man claiming to work for a company called "First Pass", asking about an RTA I was supposed to have been involved in. I asked how he got my details and requested that they be deleted from their data-base. I have never been in an RTA, and am on TPS to prevent cold-callers. He persisted in trying to obtain more information from me and when I refused to answer, he hung up. If they call again, I shall report them to Ofcom.

Phone scam call - tells you they are from BT/ Ofcom and your broadband is being hacked from someone in Mountain View California. Gets you to lookup "1p address" on google to "prove" this (which is nonsense). Then to access deskroll.com so he can remote access your computer. I led him on a bit to find out what would happen, then told him what i thought of him... so he swore at me and put the phone down! lol

Fraud. The female caller (with a strange accent) said she representing Star Financial Services in the USA, and claimed they are currently engaged in a hostile takeover of Prudential Plc. so they wanted to buy my shares but first needed me to sign a non-disclosure agreement. They wanted my email address to send the documents. I said no, even tho they had my correct name and home phone number. I googled the company and they only have 5 employees and a non-phone number listed on BBB in the US.
