Silent call. I didn t say "hello" on pick up. That usually triggers any recorded calls. No one the other end said "hello" etc. nSo another crap call.
Just had a call from this number. Whomever it was put the phone down when I asked who they were.
SCAM Spoke to me for a few seconds to confirm that I didn't sound like an easy target then rapidly cut me off. I can only assume they are scamsters probably not calling from this number, but spoofing it.

Wanted £200 to fix, as our Mcafee didn't cover "network". Said we'd call back and given this number. Subsequently checked with Currys who support some of our tech who confirmed it's a scam

This is a company called Business Advisory Services who appear to be a genuine energy broker but they are aggressive and pushy on the phone. They don t really declare that they are a broker and ask for information on your energy bills. Having established they are a broker, I told them we have an energy broker we are very happy with. SCAM - They claim to be National Insurance reporting that you've had a case of identity theft. The voice is automated but the number is obviously a persona/basic phone number.

So far in the past week I have had 13 calls from these people. Thankfully I have a CPR Call Blocker fitted on my phone line, so now I don t even hear the phone ring. They do seem to be very persistent though. Hopefully they will realise soon they aren t going to get anywhere with my number and give up.

SCAM Very rude gentleman claiming to be from BT and asking me to access a website because of a (non-existent) change to my Internet connection. Became aggressive and clueless when I asked him to prove his identity, before giving up easily. Come on, guys, you're not even *trying* to be convincing any more! Amateur.
This is a genuine Santander Fraud Department number. However I suggest you always call your bank using the number on the back of your Debit/Credit Card to check. This what I did and it was confirmed my Debit Card was being used by criminals, so needed cancelling and replacing.
