Someone is using this number on my accounts

My car was involved in an accident, 100% liability on other driver & is going through Motability insurance (both cars are on the scheme). So no idea as to why Hastings Direct are calling me & how the heck they got my phone number!! So searched the number & got a lot of responses saying it s marketing, untrustworthy & not to respond! I m not but want to put this out there for everyone else.

Just had a very shady call, would only speak to the owner. A woman calling with South Asian accent asking for me by my first name. When I asked her where did she get my information from, she answered:"The UK Database". PPI call.

Caller initially claimed to be calling from the University of Sussex, asking me to undertake an online research survey. Then they wanted our email address, and I enquired why was that necessary if the survey was online - all they needed to do was provide me with the web address. The caller later later confirmed they were an independent market research company , and continued to ask for my email address. Of course, I never provided it.

Definitely a scam. Neither BT, Openreach or any other provider will call you about technical issues unless you contact them.

Obviously space bags are the culprit here that this scam is coming from! Absolutely shocking I am not happy at all and spacebags will be receiving a piece of my mind- AHoles

Can?t be trusted in my opinion. My family has nothing to do with and no connection what so ever with London, England where this number comes from. This number from England, called my under aged childs phone number. I would not recommend anyone to answer.

Aggressive call left a message. Computerised voice saying it was extremeley time sensitive abd if i didnt call sarah wilson back i better get ready for action. I was also told to get a solicitor asap.looked on this site and another victim said they called hmrc and its not a call from them.

It rang twice in less than a minute but as soon as I try to answer, the call dies.

Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. I told her I don t want to participate in her scam. She paused a few seconds and told me she was just calling from an insurance company (didn t actually say a company name). I told her no she wasn t. A woman rang saying she was from St Helens; some recycleing company. Said she could get a grant for windows, doors conservatories or boilers. Said she would ring back later. Immediatley the phone went down a man rang. Think this is some kind of hard sell/ scam type of call.

It gives you a link to click on, pretending to be Royal Mail. Why would anyone click on an unknown link, it is defo not Royal Mail, I checked with them.
